Wanting to know what is the easiest way to get from Magic Kingdom to Disney Springs?
Here is a complete guide to the options that you have if you want to get from Disney Springs from Magic Kingdom.
Disney World has an amazingly efficient and totally free transportation system that enables visitors to be able to travel around the parks, hotels, and Disney Springs.
There are a number of different types of transportation:
- Disney World Monorail
- Disney World Boat Transporation
- The Disney Bus Transportation System
- Disney World Skyliner
Whilst having so many options is a great thing, it can also be a bit confusing.
Two of the transport options don’t work. The Disney Skyliner doesn’t run near either Disney Springs or Magic Kingdom.
The Quickest Way to Get to Disney Springs from Magic Kingdom
If you are talking about using Disney transportation to travel between Disney Springs and Magic Kingdom this is probably going to take you around 45 minutes to an hour.
Unfortunately, there are no direct buses from any of the Disney World theme parks to Disney Springs.
However, you can get a bus from Disney’s Contemporary Resort which is a short walk from Magic Kingdom.
I can understand if, after a day in Magic Kingdom, you simply don’t feel as though you can walk any further! It is about 0.5 miles and a pleasant walk, but if you really don’t want to do that you can take the monorail to the Contemporary Resort.
It should take you about 5 to 10 minutes to walk from Magic Kingdom to the Contemporary. Once you exit from Magic Kingdom just turn left and follow the sings and the party to the Resort.
If you are leaving at a busy time, so for example, just after the fireworks, then there will most likely be a line for the monorail – so you really would be better to walk if you possibly can!
When you get to the Contemporary Resort just look for the bus transportation area. This is easy if you are walking as you will see the signs. If you are on the monorail you will need to exit the hotel and walk to the bus stops.

Ride Sharing Services from Magic Kingdom to Disney Springs
If you do not want to use the free Disney transportation system you could choose a ride-sharing service.
This most likely isn’t going to save you any time though as you cannot get an Uber or Lyft directly from Magic Kingdom.
To use a ride-sharing service you would have to get to the Transport and Ticket Center to the pickup point there.
The quickest way to get to the Transport and Ticket Center is the monorail. You can also use Disney Boat Transportation across Bay Lake. This usually takes longer than the monorail though.
The overall journey time is of course going to depend on traffic and how long the wait is for either the boat or monorail from Magic Kingdom to the Transport and Ticket Center.
