Epcot Countries

There are 11 Epcot countries in the World Showcase part of the park. Each has very unique architecture, dining and shopping. All of the Epcot countries are located around the World Showcase Lagoon. The saying goes that what Epcot really stands for is Everyone Comes Out Tired and it is true that it can certainly be a challenge to take in everything that Epcot has to offer in just one day! Most of the countries have been there since Epcot opened on 1st October 1982 but some have been added since that time, and of course there is always speculation that one day there will be additional countries added to the existing eleven nations which are represented in World Showcase.

So let us take a tour around the World Showcase Lagoon to get a flavor of the Epcot Countries.

Epcot Canada

This is the first country you will encounter if you take an anti clockwise tour around the lagoon and enter from Future World. The architecture is certainly imposing and is designed to make the guest think of the great Canadian outdoors. Beautiful gardens, cascading waterfalls and magnificent totem poles great you in the Epcot Canada Pavilion.

There is an excellent attraction here. O’ Canada is a circle vision movie presentation which takes you on a journey around the diverse landscape of this huge country. Yes the narration by Martin Short can be a little cheesy, and you do have to stand for the whole performance but this is one of those not to be misses World Showcase experiences.

The one disappointing feature of the Canadian Pavilion in Epcot is the shopping. There is now just one store since the upper level shopping venue closed a few years ago due to low revenue. The remaining store just doesn’t seem as interesting as most of the others in World Showcase.

It is here that you will find one of the most popular restaurants in the whole of Walt Disney World, Epcot Le Cellier Steakhouse. This traditional steakhouse is one of the most difficult to get Advance Dining Reservations for.

Epcot United Kingdom

The United Kingdom Pavilion displays a very varied selection of British architectural styles. From Tudor to Georgian and Regency style to Victorian England this is certainly a mix but it all works really well together. Sadly the United Kingdom does not have an attraction or ride, but the shopping and dining opportunities are well worth a look.

The shops offer a wide selection of British goods. Want some tea, fine china, soccer shirts, Beatles themed items of even your own family heraldic crest? This is the destination for you!

The full service dining Rose and Crown offers traditional British pub food fare including the famous dish of Fish and chips. The Rose and Crown is one of the best places to view the Epcot Illuminations fireworks which are staged every evening at the World Showcase Lagoon.

Epcot France

The first thing that you will notice of course is the one tenth scale replica of the Eiffel Tower which dominates the Parisian style architecture of Epcot France. This is a very stylish place to be with excellent shopping and high quality dining. It is also a great place to find Disney Princesses Belle and Aurora.

The shops sell great selections of wine, household goods and of course perfume. Epcot France also has the only stand alone Givenchy store in the US.

The Impressions de France is one of my favorite Epcot attractions. This 18 minute movie, although very dated, has beautiful music and shows the diverse and beautiful scenery of France.

Dining in France is of course of excellent quality. If you want fine dining head to the Bistro de Paris and if you want something also of very good quality but rather less formal then choose the Chefs de Paris. If you just want a quick snack then the Boulangerie Patisserie is a great place to stop for a French cake or pastry. No they don’t quite taste like the real thing but they are good quality and the cafe tables offer a great place to rest for a while before you head off again around World Showcase.

Look out for the excellent street entertainment in France. Serveur Amusant is well worth waiting for and draws a large crowd.

Here is our complete guide to the Pavilion:

Epcot France

Epcot Morocco

This is one of the most recent additions to the World Showcase part of Epcot (it was added in 1984). It is designed to look like an authentic Moroccan city and The King of Morocco even sent some of his own artisans to work on the project to ensure the highest degree of attention to detail.

Restaurant Marakkesh is one of those hidden Epcot gems. It is located at the back of the Pavilion and many people either don’t realize that it is there or are deterred by it’s unfamiliar menu. Take a chance and see if you like it and you will likely be rewarded with one of the best Epcot restaurant experiences. The food is good and reasonably priced for an Epcot restaurant. Everyone will love the belly dancing entertainment and you can even join in if you are brave enough.

The shopping is also a lot of fun in Epcot Morocco. Here you will find authentic jewelry, clothes and Moroccan ceramics. The Cast Members here are amongst the friendliest in the whole of Epcot.

Morocco also has one of my favorite quick service dining destinations in the park. Tangier has great authentic food at reasonable prices. It is particularly good if you are vegetarian. Just don’t drink the wine!

Epcot Japan

The architecture here is stunning, the food is excellent and the shopping is amongst the best in the whole of World Showcase. The huge red torri gate is one of the most imposing and memorable features of the World Showcase Lagoon. The very tall pagoda also dominates the skyline. You will find that this is one of the most tranquil places in World Showcase. Make sure that you spend some time in the large courtyard and just look at the attention to detail and the beautiful spaces in this wonderful Epcot Pavilion.

There are 2 excellent restaurants here. Tokyo Dining has all the traditional times you would expect such as sushi and bento boxes on the menu. It is also one of the best restaurants for exceptional service in the whole of Epcot. Teppan Edo is also a lot of fun with excellent food. This traditional teppanyaki dining room offers entertainment as well as excellent food. The Yakatori House which is slightly hidden away is also a great place for quick service dining.

Miyuki is one of the best of the street entertainers. She practices the ancient and rare art of making animal shapes out of candy. Her show is very entertaining and you can see this in the courtyard at scheduled times on most days.

The shopping here is amongst the best in Epcot. The Mitsukoshi Department store is huge and has everything from traditional Japanese clothes, Japanese dining items including some very fancy chopsticks, jewelry, and lot of toys.

As you can probably tell the Japanese Pavilion is one of my very favorites. Definitely plan to spend some time here so that you can experience the very special ambience of this Pavilion.

Epcot United States

Photo by Brian and Kathy Mickle

The United States Pavilion in Epcot is the largest space and has the most imposing building – a huge colonial style mansion which houses the American Adventure attraction. This is one of the most technologically advanced attractions in the whole of Walt Disney World and it tells the story of American history using a mix of movie footage and animatronics. All of the US Presidents are represented on stage – it is a very memorable and thought provoking attraction.

It is also home to the large American Gardens Theatre which is an outdoor theater which stages many live events such as the Eat to the Beat concerts and the Holiday Candlelight Processional features.

Sadly the American Pavilion lacks a full service dining venue. The only food available here is in the quick service location. If you want traditional American burger and fries this is the place to be. For funnel cakes there is also an outside small kiosk. The shopping is also strangely limited here. There is a small store selling books, clothes and other items but really most guests will be expecting something more. The focus here is on the American Adventure attraction – and whilst this is spectacular I really do wish there was a little more offered here.

Epcot Italy

Photo by Brian and Kathy Mickle

Of course Epcot Italy is one of the most relaxing and stylish of the World Showcase Pavilions. Great dining and shopping and people watching. Just pick a spot on one of the tables in the square and watch the world go by for a moment.

The architecture takes it’s inspiration from Venice, Rome and Florence. Epcot Italy has 2 restaurants. Via Napoli is a traditional pizza restaurant with a huge wood fired pizza oven dominating the space, and Tutto Italiana has a good (if pricey) selection of pasta and traditional Italian entrees.

As you would expect, the shopping is also great in Italy. Everything from excellent wines and high quality kitchen items, to perfume, jewelry and clothes.

Epcot Germany

This Pavilion seems to be particularly beautiful at night. All of the lights and music just seem to work even better after dark. The theme here is Oktoberfest. The architecture is exactly what you would expect to see in a traditional medieval German town.

Germany is home to one of the most fun of all of the Epcot dining experiences. The Biergarten offers traditional German food in an all you can eat buffet. The real attraction here is the entertainment. Guests are seated at huge tables and are entertained by a traditional German ‘oompah’ band wearing the national costume of lederhosen! Certainly an experience not to be missed (although the food is not the best in Epcot).

The shops offer lots of interesting items. It is Christmas year round here and they store sells some great Holiday decorations including the traditional Pickle. The wine cellar offers some excellent German wines. There is a large selection of glassware, traditional toys including the Stein bear, and a large selection of cuckoo clocks.

Epcot China

Another visually stunning and imposing Pavilion, Epcot China offers great shopping and a very watchable movie attraction. Unfortunately the dining is the most disappointing in the whole of the Epcot park.

Reflections of China is a very entertaining movie showing the diverse culture and history of China. Like O’ Canada this is Circle Vision 360 but it is a continuous image projected all around the room (the Canadian movie is repeated images around the room not one continuous one). Whatever the technical details this is a movie to to be missed. Be aware though that guests to have to stand for the duration of the movie.

There are excellent shows throughout the day in the courtyard which showcase the talents of young Chinese acrobats. Check your daily schedule for details. Also see the schedule for appearances by Disney Princess Mulan.

The Yong Feng Shangdian store is one of the largest in World Showcase and has an excellent choice of clothes, home goods, jewelry and toys. Particularly popular are the parasols and the puppets which are sold in one of the kiosks in the courtyard.

The quick service dining venue is the Lotus Blossom Cafe which serves good Chinese favorites. Unfortunately the Nine Dragons restaurant is one of the most disappointing in the World Showcase. Average food and average service.

Epcot Norway

This is home to one of the most popular dining venues and one of only 2 rides in Epcot World Showcase. Epcot Norway is the place where the Disney Princesses are found in Restaurant Akershus. If you are looking for a great character dining location where you get quality time with the Princesses then Disney Princess Storybook Dining is the place for you. The food may take second place to the character greetings but this is still a great choice for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

The Maelstrom water ride is a lot of fun for all ages (but beware it is a dark ride so may scare the younger ones). Take a boat ride through Viking Norway to the present day on this water ride. There is one small drop and the ride seems really short but it is worth a visit if the lines are not too long. A Fast Pass is also available if the wait times seem to much to deal with. There is a short, and very outdated movie at the end of the ride. Most people skip this but if this is your first visit then take some time to watch it. Norway is an amazing country with beautiful scenery and I wish that more people would take the time to watch the movie – incredibly outdated though I know it is!

The store is rather disappointing. A large part of it is devoted to traditional Norwegian clothes which although high quality (and high priced) somehow seem out of place in the Florida sun. The store also offers some toys (think Viking helmets, swords) and a lot of trolls! There is jewelry and perfume too but nothing particularly exciting here.

Epcot Mexico

As you would expect Epcot Mexico is vibrant and lively. The Pavilion is the only Pavilion to be mostly housed inside a building (a replica of a Mayan Temple). Step inside and you will be captivated by the sights and sounds of a traditional Mexican market place. It truly is beautiful.

The Grand Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Cabelleros is a fun, but slightly strange boat ride though Mexican historical sights with Donald Duck as your companion. Sounds strange? It is slightly but is nonetheless worth a visit.

The dining here is very good with 2 choices of restaurant. The San Angel Inn is a candle light dining venue at the side of the ‘river’ of the water ride. The food here is good (but pricey) Mexican fare. There is also a very popular outside restaurant at the edge of the World Showcase Lagoon – Hacienda de San Angel. Again the food is good but one of the main attractions here is the view. If you can snag a lagoon side table later in the evening you will get one of the very best views available of the nightly Epcot Illuminations fireworks show.

The shopping in Mexico is also very good. Here you will find traditional Mexican crafts, pottery, and clothing is good value.

Another very popular spot in Epcot Mexico is the La Cava de Tequila bar. Go here for speciality tequilas and of course very good margaritas!

There are so many Epcot countries to explore you do need to make sure that you devote at least a day to touring both Future World and World Showcase. If you can spare 2 days then you really will get the most out of your visit to Epcot.

Epcot Restaurants

Epcot Restaurants are some of the very best in Walt Disney World. There is something for everyone ranging from an authentic Moroccan Feast, to traditional Italian pizza, to an authentic British pub meal.

There are 2 full service restaurants in Epcot Future World:

Epcot Coral Reef

Dine whilst surrounded by a giant aquarium. This very unique restaurant in Future World has 8 foot high glass walls which allow diners to have a great view of the huge salt water Under The Seas with Nemo Pavilion exhibit. Watch the fish (and even some humans) swimming by whilst you dine.

The menu is of course seafood based. Many love the decor and the theme, but reviews are often critical of the service experience and the quality of the food.

Here is a complete guide:

Epcot Coral Reef Restaurant

Epcot Garden Grill Restaurant

The Garden Grill is one of only 2 full service restaurants in Epcot Future World. This restaurant moves! The Garden Grill revolves slowly giving diners an ariel view into the Living with the Land attraction.

The Garden Grill is home to Chip and Dale’s Harvest Feast which is an all you care to eat dinner served family style. This restaurant only serves dinner from 4pm and is no longer open for breakfast or lunch. The food is brought to your table already plated. As well as Chip and Dale, Mickey Mouse and Pluto usually appear.

Epcot World Showcase Restaurants

There are many excellent restaurants located in Epcot Future World. Here is your chance to sample some excellent menus whilst making your way around the different country pavilions of World Showcase. All of the servers are from the country which they represent. The standard of service in the restaurants tends to be some of the best that you will experience in any of the Disney parks, and the diversity of the food and menus means that there really is something for everyone here.

Le Cellier Steakhouse

Located in the Canadian Pavilion, Le Cellier Steakhouse is one of the most popular of all Walt Disney World restaurants. It is one of the most difficult to snag Advance Dining Reservations for – so if you want to eat here then you really do need to plan well ahead of time. This is now a Disney Signature Restaurant which means that if you are using the Disney Dining Plan it will require 2 dining credits.

The menu at Le Cellier has a good selection of steakhouse type food. Popular offerings include New York Strip, Filet Mignon and Pacific Salmon.

For a complete guide see:

Epcot Le Cellier Steakhouse

Epcot Rose and Crown Pub and Dining Room

For traditional British fare head to the Rose and Crown Restaurant. The menu includes such British favorites as fish and chips, vegetable curry and bangers and mash. The desserts are well worth a try particularly the sticky toffee pudding. If you can get a table overlooking the World Showcase Lagoon before 9pm then you will get one of the best views of the Illumination:Reflections of Earth fireworks.

Bistro de Paris

The Bistro de Paris is the more upscale of the two restaurants in the French Pavilion. It is located the floor above the other French restaurant Chefs de France.

The atmosphere and menu is decidedly high end with such offerings as Lamb Shank and Roasted Duck Breast. Entrees are priced around $35 and upwards. There is also a Prix Fixe menu with optional wine pairings which is excellent value when you consider the quality of the food and service offered.

Chefs de France

This is the second restaurant in the French Pavilion which serves good quality French food for lunch and dinner. Favorites are French Onion soup, Escargot, the very tasty Macaroni and of course the Creme Brûlée. There is also a fixed price menu available. The decor is reminiscent of a traditional Parisian cafe. The waiters are on the whole extremely good and friendly (unlike many whom I have encountered in the real Paris)!

Restaurant Marrakesh

This is one of the least popular of the Epcot restaurants but it really shouldn’t be. Many are put off by the unfamiliar menu but the food and the atmosphere inside the restaurant are definitely worth a try. The belly dancing entertainment is a lot of fun. Try the traditional couscous, the kebabs or the Fish Tangine. Possibly better to skip the authentic Moroccan wine though!

Tokyo Dining

There are 2 restaurants in the Japan Epcot Pavilion and my personal favorite has to be Tokyo dining. It serves traditional and familiar Japanese food with great menu selections including sushi, bento boxes, and tempura combinations. You can watch the chefs prepare the sushi at one side of the room but if you possibly can get a table close to the window where there is a great view of World Showcase Lagoon.

If I had to vote for my favorite service in any Epcot restaurant it would be a tough call but Tokyo Dining would definitely be in my top 3. The waitresses are extremely attentive and helpful and do seem to genuinely want you to enjoy your dining experience.

Teppan Edo

If you want to enjoy a fun dining experience then head to Teppan Edo at the Japanese Pavillion. This restaurant adjoins Tokyo Dining but is very different in style and experience. Diners are seated at large tables centered where the chef will prepare your food right in front of you. This is a very entertaining experience and the food is generally excellent.

Tutto Italia

This is one of the excellent restaurants located in the Italy Pavilion. There is indoor and outdoor seating in this very elegantly designed restaurant. The menu is very traditional Italian food. Appetizer favorites include Fresh Mozzarella, Calamari and an excellent Cannellini Bean Soup. The entree menu has some good pasta dishes and a large selection of meat and fish choices. It is wise to leave space for dessert with Tiramisu being an excellent choice. The one disappointing menu item is the coffee – definitely not up to Italian standards but nonetheless unfortunately one of the best choices for coffee in Disney World.

Via Napoli

This is the newest of the Italian restaurants in Epcot World Showcase. The speciality of Via Napoli is the wood fired pizzas created in the huge pizza oven which dominates the hub of the restaurant. Guests can choose from individual or family sized pizzas. The atmosphere is less formal than Tutto Italia and it is a great place to take the kids.

Nine Dragons Restaurant

This authentic Chinese restaurant is really the only disappointing dining experience in Epcot World Showcase. Nine Dragons has a menu with items which are pretty standard for any US Chinese restaurant such as Kung Pao Chicken, Canton Pepper Beef and Vegetable Stir Fry. The service is not that great and the standard of food is pretty average. This is the only Epcot restaurant that I do not personally recommend. Chinese food is one of my favorites but for me this restaurant just does not get anything right.

Biergarten

If you are looking for a fun dining experience then head to Biergarten in Epcot’s Germany Pavilion. Every day is Oktoberfest in Biergarten! Guests are seated around large tables and can help themselves to an all you care to eat buffet. There is a huge choice of hot and cold buffet items including Bratwurst, Pork Shank, Rotisserie Chicken and a large choice of salad items.

The food is not the best in World Showcase but the atmosphere are experience certainly are.

Akershus Princess Storybook Dining

This dining location in Epcot’s Norway Pavilion is much less about traditional Norwegian food and more about quality time spent with the Princesses. This is the only Epcot restaurant which is open for breakfast as well and lunch and dinner. The menu for breakfast is traditional American food served family style. Lunch and dinner have an all you care to eat cold buffet and you can order as many entree items off the menu as you like.

Princess Storybook Dining is a great place to meet the Disney Princesses. The quality of the food is not what you go here for. If you realize that then you won’t be disappointed.

You can read a full guide including a menu at:

Disney Princess Storybook Dining

San Angel Inn

The very atmospheric San Angel Inn is located inside the Mexico Pavilion in Epcot World Showcase. The setting is spectacular, overlooking the replica Mayan Temple and the dim lighting all adds to the ambience of the restaurant. Watch guests float by on the Gran Fiesta Tour boat ride as you are enjoying your meal. It is pretty dark in the restaurant but this is all part of effect. The menu offers all the usual Mexican fare: Tostadas, Tacos, and Enseladas. Of course the San Angel Inn also has great margaritas to try!

La Hacienda de San Angel

This is another relatively new addition to Epcot World Showcase just outside the Mexico Pavilion. One of the major plus points of this restaurant is the huge windows overlooking World Showcase Lagoon. This makes it the perfect place to watch Epcot Illuminations if you manage to get a table by the window.

Of the 2 Mexican restaurants in Epcot this is my favorite menu (although it is pricier than San Angel Inn).

Whichever Epcot restaurant you choose you will be sure to have a great experience (the only exception to this in my opinion being the somewhat mediocre Nine Dragons). As will all restaurants in Walt Disney World make sure that you make Advance Dining Reservations up to 180 days ahead by calling 407 WDW DINE or by reserving online at Disney World Dining

Top 10 Best Walt Disney World Restaurants for Kids

Which are the best Walt Disney World Restaurants for kids? Disney World offers some very unique dining choices and sometimes it can get overwhelming to choose which ones the kids are really going to love. It can be difficult to choose which of the Disney character dining experiences, or the uniquely themed restaurants are the ones which your kids are going to like the most. Here is a guide to my personal Top 10 best Disney World restaurants for kids.

Disney Sci Fi Dine In Theater

Think diner food in one of the most unique restaurants in Walt Disney World and here you have the Sci Fi Dine in Theater. The kids are going to find this Disney Hollywood Studios restaurant a whole lot of fun. Step back to the 1950s for some traditional diner food in a restaurant which looks as though you have stepped right into a movie drive in. The first thing that you will notice is of course the tables which look like convertible cars all lined up in front of a huge movie screen. The second thing you as an adult will notice is how loud and dark the room is! The fun here is about the design and the atmosphere so make sure that you ask to sit at one of the convertible car tables as there are some picnic style tables at the back of the restaurant which you will probably want to avoid.

The food here is not the best in Disney World. You come here for the atmosphere. And usually because the kids really want to go here. Expect average food at high prices and you won’t be disappointed.

For more information about restaurant and to see the menu here is our guide:

Disney Sci-Fi Dine in Theater

Disney Princess Storybook Dining

The Akershus restaurant in Epcot World Showcase is home to the very popular Disney Princess Storybook Dining. If you want to give your kids one of the best chances to meet and talk with the Disney Princesses then this is a great opportunity. You can never guarantee that a certain character will actually appear but you do often find Princess Aurora, Belle, Ariel, Princess Jasmine and Snow White.

You have a choice of breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Disney Princess Once Upon a Time Breakfast offers pre plated all you can eat breakfast favorites. The Princess Storybook Lunch and the Dinner are a combination of all you care to eat buffet items and entrees which you order from the menu. The quality of the food is pretty average but really you go here for the great chance to meet the Princesses not for the food.

The price of the meal includes a photo package. For more information here is our guide at

Disney’s Sanaa at Animal Kingdom Villa Resort

There are very few restaurants in the world where you can dine whilst looking out of the window to watch zebras, giraffe and other wildlife passing by. Sanaa is located at the Animal Kingdom Villas at Kidani Village. There is a huge picture window overlooking the savannah. One of the best times to go is lunch time as of course you can see the animals passing by outside. This is a very unique experience for all the family, not just the kids!

This is one of the lesser known Disney restaurants but it is also one of the most spectacular and if you are prepared to be a little adventurous it also has some of the very best food.

The menu is described as being African food with Indian influences. What this translates to is a very high quality interesting menu with such items as Tandoori Chicken, various curries, spicy side dishes and naan breads. Don’t be concerned if the kids are more of the mac and cheese preferring kind! Sanaa has the usual kids menu offerings of pizza, cheeseburger and macaroni and cheese.

Disney Chef Mickey’s

Chef Mickey’s is a very popular character dining experience for all the family. It is particularly great for young children as it is chance to get up close to Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Chef Mickey’s is located at Disney’s Contemporary Resort which is just minutes away from the Magic Kingdom. Breakfast and dinner are served each day.

Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Chip and Dale are usually there at breakfast. Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Pluto, and Donald Duck usually go for dinner. As with all character appearances these are subject to change.

The food is good quality buffet fare and there is plenty of choice for even the pickiest eaters. This is very popular with young children so go there expecting a noisy, fun atmosphere and you won’t go far wrong!

Cinderella’s Royal Table

Want to know how you can get a look inside Cinderella’s Castle? Be one of the lucky ones who manage to snag a reservation at the most popular of the Disney Restaurants – Cinderella’s Royal Table. This is an extremely popular restaurant. Not only do you get to dine inside the Magic Kingdom Castle but you also get to meet Cinderella. You may also see The Fairy Godmother, Princess Belle, Princess Aurora and Snow White (you know I am going to say that all character appearances are not guaranteed and are subject to change without notice).

The food is pretty good and the kids (and the grown ups) will love the chance to meet their favorite Princesses.

For a complete guide go to:

Cinderella’s Royal Table is it Worth It?

T-Rex Cafe Restaurant in Downtown Disney

This is a relative newcomer in Walt Disney World which was created by the same people who brought you the very popular Rain Forest Cafe. The theme is of course the pre historic world so expect dinosaurs, decent but pricey food and a whole lot of noise! This is a great restaurant to take the kids and of course as it is in Downtown Disney you can visit on one of your non park days as you won’t need a ticket.

The menu at the T-Rex Cafe is definitely on the pricey side. But who can resist Asteroid French Onion Soup, Brachiosaurus Bruschetta , or a Gigantosaurus Burger? Well the kids probably can but don’t worry, there is a kids menu with the usual favorites, pizza, burgers and pasta.

Disney Crystal Palace Restaurant

The Crystal Palace is located at the end of Main Street in Magic Kingdom. It is a great place to take the kids, particularly the 5 and under set. This is one of my very favorite Disney character dining restaurants as not only do you get to meet Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and Eeyore the food is also pretty good for all the family. The Crystal Palace serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. A particularly good choice is lunch as you can take a break in the middle of the day to sit down and refuel.

For a complete guide go to

Disney World Crystal Palace Restaurant

1900 Park Fare

This is another very popular Disney World character dining restaurant where at dinner you get the chance to meet Cinderella. 1900 Park Fare is located in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort so is just a very short monorail ride from the Magic Kingdom. It has some of the highest quality buffet food in the whole of Walt Disney World. Breakfast characters include Alice in Wonderland, The Mad Hatter, Mary Poppins, Winnie the Pooh, and Tigger. If you want to see Princess Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, Drizella and Anastasia then they are usually scheduled to appear at dinner.

There is a special children’s buffet section which is low down so that the kids can help themselves. 1900 Park Fare is of course a very popular Disney dining location. It can get pretty busy and is rather loud but it is definitely a winner with the kids!

Hoop Dee Doo Musical Review

The Hoop Dee Doo Musical Review is a fun dinner show which has played to guests since 1974 at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. The show is practically unchanged since that time so if you are looking for Disney nostalgia which is great fun for both kids and adults then this is a wonderful choice. The show is held in Pioneer Hall which is the hub of Fort Wilderness Campground and Resort. It is very popular and shows run 3 times a night.

The food is served family style and includes breads, salad, Fried Chicken, Smoked Barbecued Pork Ribs, Mashed Potatoes, and Country Style Baked Beans. Very traditional fare. The real appeal of this experience is of course the entertainment. Table are pre assigned and the closer you are to the stage the pricier the reservation. Be prepared to be entertained by Johnny Ringo and Claire de Lune the dancers, Jim Handy and Flora Long the singers, and Six Bits Slocum and Dolly Drew provide the comedy.

Epcot Coral Reef Restaurant

Epcot Coral Reef restaurant is another great choice for both the kids and the adults. Coral Reef is a restaurant with a difference. The restaurant has a wall of 8 feet high windows which look onto the huge salt water aquarium. which is part of the Seas With Nemo and Friends pavilion in Epcot Future World. Sit and eat your meal whilst you watch up to 85 species of fish in the giant tank. Perhaps more entertaining for the children is the fact that often you can see divers float past your table.

Whilst the concept of Epcot Coral Reef is an excellent one and the decor and theme are a brilliant idea, reviews are mixed about the food and the service. Here is my review at:

Epcot Coral Reef Restaurant

Whichever restaurant you choose in Walt Disney World there are plenty of options to keep the kids (and the grown ups) happy. Which is your favorite Disney restaurant? Leave me a Comment!

Where Can You Find Cinderella in Disney World

Where to Find Sleeping Beauty in Disney World

Where can you find Sleeping Beauty in Disney World? Sleeping Beauty or Princess Aurora is a very popular Disney Princess and many guests hope to meet her in person when they visit Disney World. So where are the best places to find her?

Sleeping Beauty in Disney Magic Kingdom

Sleeping Beauty is easiest to find in Magic Kingdom where she can be in one of a number of places. As with all Disney characters remember that you should check schedules the day that you arrive in the park and that character appearances are subject to change without notice.

Cinderella’s Royal Table

Cinderella’s Royal Table is the incredibly ocular restaurant inside Cinderella’s Castle in Magic Kingdom. Getting a reservation here is the most difficult of all the Disney restaurants. The combination of the attraction of dining inside the Castle and the chance to meet some of the Disney Princesses makes this the most difficult of all of the restaurants to get a reservation for in the whole of Walt Disney World. It isn’t just Cinderella who you will find here. Sleeping Beauty sometimes makes an appearance here. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at Cinderella’s Royal Table.

Disney Dreams Come True Parade at Magic Kingdom

This is one of the most popular parades in Disney World and it is held most days (usually around 3pm) in Magic Kingdom. Princess Aurora and her Princess friends make an appearance in each parade. This is one of the best chances to see the Disney Princesses but of course this is a parade so you can only watch them from afar. The Main Street Electrical Parade is another chance to see Aurora. This is not held every day so check your schedule for appearances.

Dream Along With Mickey

This is a must see show which takes place in the forecourt at the front of Disney’s Cinderella Castle each day. Usually there are 3 performances each day but as always check your schedule. Mickey and Minnie also appear in this song and dance show which includes Snow White, Cinderella and Princess Aurora.

Disney’s Storybook Princesses Town Square Theater

There is a good chance that you will be able to meet and greet Princess Aurora in the Town Square Theater. Even if Sleeping Beauty is not there then you will certainly be able to see one of her Disney Princess friends. Check your schedule for times. This is one of the best places for meeting the Disney Princesses without having to book a character dining meal.

Princess Aurora in Epcot

Over the years the Disney Princesses have made more and more appearances inside Disney’s Epcot and now it is one of the best places to go for a chance to see your favorite.

Disney Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus

Disney Princess Storybook Dining is one of the very best places to spend some quality time with the Disney Princesses. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Akershus restaurant in the Epcot Norway Pavilion there is a good chance that Sleeping Beauty will be there. Usually 4 or 5 Disney Princesses are there at any one time and can include Princess Jasmine, Snow White, Belle and Sleeping Beauty. There is no guarantee that a specific Princess will be there but there is sure to be at least one Princess on your favorites list.

Princess Aurora is also regularly seen outside the Epcot France Pavilion. This is an excellent place to meet both Belle and Sleeping Beauty as generally the lines are shorter than for meet and greet in Magic Kingdom. Look on your daily schedule for times.

Princess Aurora Outside the Disney Parks

There are few chances to see the Disney Princesses outside the Disney parks as they usually keep to Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. You won’t see Princesses inside Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

My Disney Girl’s Perfectly Princess Tea Party

This regal tea party is held each Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10:30am until Noon in the Grand Floridian Hotel Garden View Lounge. Hosted by Miss Rose Petal who is a rose from Sleeping Beauty’s garden this is a very special, and at $250 for one adult and one child, very expensive tea party. Any of the Disney Princesses can be there with Rose Petal but often it is Sleeping Beauty herself. This is a very popular event and the reviews are usually positive. It is recommended for girls aged 3 to 11 and is promoted as a mother daughter event. As well as being served tea, cake and sandwiches, girls receive a lot of extra goodies including a doll which is dressed just like Princess Aurora.

Disney Hollywood and Vine

Disney Hollywood and Vine is a buffet restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It is a character buffet for breakfast and lunch but not dinner. This restaurant is great for families with young children for breakfast and lunch as the Little Einsteins are in attendance. If you want to get up close and personal with June, Leo, Hanny Manny and Special Agent Oso this is the place to be at breakfast and lunch. Dinner is rather quieter and does not have character appearances. So what are the menus at Disney Hollywood and Vine?

All prices are correct as at November 2011. Increased Holiday pricing does apply on select dates. All menus are subject to change. And of course the usual warning that although characters do appear at breakfast and dinner there is no guarantee that a certain character will appear.

Hollywood and Vine Breakfast

This is served from 8am until 11.20 and costs $30.88 for adults and $17.03 for children aged 3 to 9. The under 3s are free. These prices include taxes but gratuity is extra. It is also one dining credit if you are on the Disney Dining Plan. The buffet is typical buffet food and is of course all you care to eat:

Freshly Baked Pastries
Seasonal Fruit
Assorted yogurts
Breakfast Meats
Scrambled Eggs and Frittata
Mickey Waffles with Assorted Toppings
Oven Roasted Potatoes
Sausage Gravy and Biscuits.

Disney Hollywood and Vine Lunch

Lunch is also a character meal with the Little Einsteins from 11.40 to 2.25. The cost is $35.14 for adults and $19.16 for children aged 3 to 9. This includes tax but gratuity is extra. This is one dining credit for the Disney dining plan.

The buffet is all you care to eat. The selection does vary but here are some items which are usually on the lunch menu:

Selection of Salads including Mozzarella and Tomato, Orange and Watercress and Caesar Salad
Carved Ham, Turkey and Salami
Fish of the Day
Seafood Pasta Alfredo
Chicken Satay and Peanut Sauce
Grilled Polenta with Sun Dried Tomatoes
Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Sauteed Green Beans
Creamed Corn Bread
Children’s Selection usually includes Fries and Mac and Cheese
Fresh Fruit and Assorted Cheeses
Selection of Breads
Desserts and Pastries including Berry Cobbler, Snickers Cheesecake, Chocolate Mousse Cake
Soft Serve Ice Cream

Disney Hollywood and Vine Dinner

This is not a character buffet. It starts at 3.30 and closing time varies according to park closing time. The cost is $35.14 for adults and $19.16 for children aged 3 to 9.

The Fantasmic! Package is also available for this restaurant. This is the same price as the usual dinner menu but guests get a seat in a reserved area for the Fantasmic show on the day of their visit. Note that this is not a reserved seat, but a seat in a reserved area. This cuts down the time spent waiting in the Fantasmic! Auditorium. There are a limited number of Fantasmic Packages available each day and you can reserve by calling 407 WDW DINE up to 180 days ahead.

The dinner menu items include:

Selection of Salads including Mixed Field Greens, Caesar Salad, Orange and Watercress Salad, Dijon Potato Salad.
Tomato and Mozzarella Salad
Peel & Eat Shrimp with Cocktail Sauce.
New Zealand Mussels
Endive and Goat Cheese Salad
Prime Rib
Pork Loin with BBQ Onions
Seafood Pasta
Herb Crusted Salmon
Mediterranean Chicken
Baked Chicken with Blackberries
Vegetarian Pasta.
Sauteed Onions, Peppers and Mushrooms
Bean Cassoulet
Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Sun Dried Tomato Polenta
Creamed Corn Spoon Bread
Green Beans with Garlic and Tomato

Key Lime Tart
Rice Krispy Treats
Pineapple Upside Down Cake
Double Chocolate Cake
No Sugar Added 3 Berry Cobbler
Apple Crisp Cobbler
Vanilla Sauce
Carrot Cake
Chocolate Mousse
Mascarpone Snicker Cheesecake

So what is dining at Disney Hollywood and Vine like? Breakfast and lunch are of course the character meals and the LIttle Einsteins appeal very much to young children. Dinner is quieter but still busy. So expect a lot of young children and a lot of noise. My 5 year old absolutely loves it. The selection of food is good and there should be something to please everyone, but the quality of the buffet food is pretty average. In fact it has my vote as one of the lower quality Disney restaurant buffets available.

Walt Disney World Dining Reservations

Walt Disney World dining reservations are easy to make either online, over the phone, at Guest Services locations and also at any Disney World restaurant. Disney World has more than 100 restaurants within the parks and resorts. Standards are usually very high and they offer something for everyone. From breakfast at Chef Mickey to fine dining at Victoria and Albert’s, Disney World has something for everyone.

Whilst it used to be easy to get walk in reservations at Disney World in all but the most popular restaurants, now it has become increasingly difficult. It is still possible to get a walk in spot in all but the busiest times but you may find that you are waiting from 45 minutes to 90 minutes for that table that you want. So it is always best to plan in advance when you can and make Disney Advance Dining Reservations.

How do you make Walt Disney World dining reservations?

You can call 407 WDW DINE. The reservationist will allow you to book as many restaurants as you like. This of course can take some time, and it often takes a long while for you to actually reach a reservationist after calling the number. This wait time does seem to have improved since the introduction on the online booking system.

An easy way to make Advance Dining Reservations is to book online on the Disney World website. The link is

Disney World Dining

This works most successfully from your home computer but I have booked many reservations on my iPhone (often whilst in the Disney parks waiting in line for an attraction).

The best way to do this is to create an account online so that you can easily keep track of your reservations.

You can also make reservations by going to Guest Services, the Concierge at a Disney resort, or from any Disney World restaurant dining podium.

When Can I Make Disney World Dining Reservations ?

You can make reservations 180 days ahead of time. Disney World resort guests have an advantage as they can make them for up to 10 days of their stay – so effectively up to 190 days ahead of time.

Is it really necessary to plan ahead such a long way for your Disney dining? Unfortunately yes it is these days. For some restaurants such as Cinderella’s Royal Table and Epcot Le Cellier Steakhouse it is almost impossible to make a reservation unless you call or go online at exactly 8am on the day that booking starts. These are extremely popular restaurants with limited seating so you do need to be quick. For other restaurants even if you start 60 days ahead you are going to find that certain restaurants are just not available. Of course it is easier in the slower season, but if you are going at a busy time you really do have to plan as far ahead as you can. Keep checking back as there are cancellations.

Remember too that there is now a new Disney dining cancellation policy. Credit card guarantees are now required for 19 additional restaurants and if you do not cancel with a full day notice (which is more than 24 hours – there has to be a full day in between) then you will be charged $10 per person for a late or non cancellation. It will be interesting to see how this affects the possibility of getting a walk in at these restaurants. Will Disney diners not be willing to risk forgetting to cancel? Somehow that seems unlikely as of course the charges apply at the most popular and difficult to get into restaurants in Disney World.

Which are the easier restaurants to get late reservations and walk ins for? It is usually possibly to get into some of the less popular Epcot restaurants such as the Nine Dragons Restaurant in China World Showcase. There is a reason for this though – unfortunately the food is overpriced and not great. Better bets are Germany’s Biergarten buffet and Morocco’s Restaurant Marrakesh.

Disney Dining Cancellation Policy

Disney World Dining has just introduced a new policy for the cancellation of Advanced Dining Reservations. Credit card guarantees will now be required for 19 of the most popular restaurants at Walt Disney World. If you do not cancel with a full day’s notice then you will be charged $10 per person for the cancelled ADR.

You can cancel a reservation online, by calling 407 WDW DINE, at any restaurant podium, at a concierge desk or at guest services in any Disney park.

It is important to realize that it is a full day notice, not 24 hours notice. If for example you have a reservation on 6th December you would have to cancel on 4th December – so you have a full day between your reservation and the cancellation date.

Which are the restaurants included in the new cancellation policy?

1900 Park Fare

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

Artist’s Point

California Grill

Cape May Café

Chef Mickey’s

Cítricos

The Crystal Palace

Flying Fish Café

The Garden Grill

Hollywood & Vine

Jiko – The Cooking Place

Le Cellier Steakhouse

Narcoossee’s

O’hana

Tusker House Restaurant

The Hollywood Brown Derby

Yachtsman Steakhouse

Victoria & Albert’s has a cancellation policy of $25 per person.

These dining venues with entertainment will continue to charge the whole price of the dining reservation

Cinderella’s Royal Table

Disney’s Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show

Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue

Mickey’s Backyard BBQ

Of course these are some of the most popular restaurants in the whole of Walt Disney World. I wonder how long it will take to extend this list? Getting an Advance Dining Reservation has become increasingly difficult in recent years, and advance planning is always the better option. But sometimes plans can change so you need to make a last minute change to your restaurant choice. Make sure that if you have booked an ADR that you now note which you have give credit card guarantees for – or it will cost you dearly!

Epcot Le Cellier Steakhouse

The Epcot Le Cellier Steakhouse in the Canadian Pavilion of World Showcase is one of the most popular restaurants in the whole of Walt Disney World. Second only to Cinderella’s Royal Table in difficulty of getting a reservation you really do have to plan ahead to snag a table at this Signature Dining Restaurant.

How do you get a reservation at Le Cellier? Call 407 WDW DINE or book online up to 180 days ahead. You do have a better chance if you stay at a Disney resort as you can book 180 days ahead for up to 10 days of your reservation (effectively giving you up to a 10 day head start on everyone else).

Le Cellier translated means, yes you guessed it, The Cellar. If you didn’t know it was there you could walk past the entrance without noticing it. Le Cellier is located below the Chateau in the Canadian Pavilion. There are no windows in this small restaurant and it is designed to look just like a wine cellar.

Le Cellier has long been known as one of the best restaurants in Epcot and gained a reputation for being very very difficult to get a reservation. It took me many attempts before one day years ago when I simply decided to see if I could get a ‘walk in’ reservation at lunch and hit lucky. So even if you don’t plan ahead it is sometimes worth asking when you arrive. Just don’t rely on it – and have a back up plan!

In 2011 Le Cellier was designated a Signature Dining Restaurant so will require 2 Dining Credits for dinner if you are on the Dining Plan. Is Le Cellier really that good? Many now feel that it falls a little short of the mark, particularly on service. I have not dined there since the Signature Dining designation so perhaps they have upped their game. but for me, the standard of the food and service just wasn’t as high as the other top restaurants in Disney World. Diners consistently rate the food very highly.

Why was it always so difficult to get a reservation at Le Cellier. Not only the good reputation and serving a popular type of cuisine. But also the simple fact that it just isn’t very big! Le Cellier is one of the smaller restaurants in Walt Disney World so it just can’t accommodate many diners.

When Le Cellier became a Signature Dining Restaurant, you guessed it, the prices went up quite a lot! If you are set on dining here you may want to try for a reservation for lunch. The menu is very similar to the dinner menu but there are slightly lower prices. Also if you are on the Dining Plan then lunch only requires one Dining Credit.

Epcot Coral Reef Restaurant

The Epcot Coral Reef Restaurant is a very unique place to dine in Walt Disney World. Located in the The Seas with Nemo and Friends Pavilion in Epcot the Coral Reef Restaurant is certainly a room with a view. The Coral Reef has a wall of 8 feet high windows which look onto the huge salt water aquarium. Diners can view not only 85 species of tropical fish but also the divers who often swim pass the windows.

Where are the best tables in Disney’s Coral Reef? Whilst it is tempting to think that a table right by the aquarium is the best place to be, it is also good to be one table away. The tables in the restaurant are ‘banked’ so that all the diners get a pretty good view.

It is a while since I have dined at the restaurant – after a couple of very mediocre experiences I really have not been tempted to go back any time soon. Reviews are very mixed with many saying that the food is mediocre and over priced. The last time I dined there I really did feel that in so many ways this is a missed opportunity for Disney. The location is amazing. But in my experience, and that of many others, the food and service really are not what they should be.

Epcot Coral Reef Restaurant offers both lunch and dinner. The main theme of course is seafood but there are plenty of other choices on the menu.

On the lunch menu appetizer choices include:

Crispy-fried Shrimp with a Jícama Slaw and Spiced Rémoulade $11.99

Crab Cakes with Tropical Fruit Salsa and Tequila Aïoli Steamed Mussels $10.99

Creamy Lobster Soup made with Tarragon and Brandy $7.99

Seasonal Soup Chef inspired creation $6.99

Fish Tostadas with Napa Cabbage, Avocado-Cilantro Cream, and fresh Lime $8.99

Lunch Entrees

Seared Scottish Salmon on Lemon and Pea Risotto with Bay Scallops and Citrus Oil $22.99

Seared Chicken Breast served over Spaetzle finished with Applewood-smoked Bacon Chicken Broth $20.99

Caesar Salad With Chicken Breast $15.49 With Shrimp $17.49

Mushroom Phyllo Crisp Roasted Mushrooms, Wilted Arugula, Aged Cheeses, and a Rustic Tomato Ragoût $18.99

Seared Rainbow Trout with Warm Salad of White Beans, Arugula, Tomatoes, Crispy Bacon, Aged Balsamic Vinegar, and Brown Butter $19.99

Roasted Pork Chop on Hominy Mash with Wild Mushrooms, Broccoli Rabe, and Apricot Glace $25.99

Grilled Mahi Mahi with Rock Shrimp, Hearts of Palm, Jasmine Rice, Cilantro, and a Coconut-Lime Sauce $24.99

Grilled New York Strip Steak served with Horseradish Smashed Potatoes and Market Fresh Vegetables $31.99

Lobster Ravioli with Rock Shrimp, fresh Tarragon, and Lobster Cream $26.49

Desserts

The Chocolate Wave served with Raspberry Gelato $7.99

Key Lime Mousse served with with Roasted Pineapple, Mango Glaze and Chocolate Pearls $7.99

Baileys and Jack Daniel’s Mousse with Roasted Pineapple, Mango Glaze, with a Caramel Crisp $7.99

Cheesecake Napoleon with Berry Compote $7.99

Passion Fruit Crème Brûlée $7.99

The dinner menu is the same, and strangely for a Disney restaurant the prices are also the same as lunch. The usual soft beverages, coffee and tea are available as well as a cocktail, beer and wine menu.

The wine menu is not particularly extensive but it contains one wine that I would be very interested to try. Lasseter Family Winery St. Emilion Blend, Alexander Valley at $16 a glass and $69 a bottle. Think you may recognize the name? This is from the winery owned by the family of Pixar’s John Lasseter.

There is a separate kids menu at Coral Reef. For $8.99 kids aged between 3 and 9 get a choice of one appetizer, one entree and a dessert, with a choice of milk, bottled water or apple juice.

Kids Appetizers

Carrot and Celery Sticks
Soup of the Day

Kids Entrees

Seared Mahi Mahi
Grilled Chicken Breast
Meaty Macaroni

Kids Desserts

Ice-Cream Sundae

Is a visit to Epcot’s Coral Reef Restaurant worth it? The reviews are very mixed with some guests absolutely loving the place. But consistently the same comments appear about the service and the quality of the food. My recent personal experience is limited so I would welcome any comments about experiences you have had dining at Coral Reef.

Top 10 Disney World Snacks

What are the top 10 best snacks in Disney World? If you are on the Disney Dining plan you will get up to 2 snack credits per day so you want to make the best use of those credits. Some, although not all of this list is available as a snack credit on the Disney Dining Plan. Or if you are just looking for a bite to eat at Disney World and want some ideas. Of course everyone has their own opinion but here is a guide to some of the most popular and well liked snacks in Walt Disney World.

Ice Cream Cookie Sandwhiches

These ice cream cookie sandwiches have long been a favorite with guests in Magic Kingdom. They are available from Sleepy Hollow Refreshments located in Libery Square. They are very popular and priced at just $4.19 they are difficult to resist. Definitelly one of the best ice cream treats available in Disney World.

Cakes From Boulangerie Patisserie in Epcot France

If you can brave the always long lines for the Boulangerie Patisserie in Epcot France there are some excellent choices of snacks here. A chocolate croissant is only $2.85 and a particular favorite, a Napolean is $3.70. The only thing disappointing here is the coffee. I really would have expected more from a French cafe – let’s hope none of the natives ever try it from here!

Kaki Gori

You may not have hear of this one but it is well worth a try if you are passing the Kabuk Cafe in the Japan Pavilion in Epcot World Showcase. At just $3.50 you can certainly try this Japanese favorite of shaved ice flavored with syrups. Chose from either strawberry, melon or mikan (tangerine). Or if you can’t make up your mind just ask for rainbow which is a combination of all flavors. Perfect to cool you down on a hot Disney World day.

Pineapple Float

The lines can be long at the small Aloha Isle snack venue in Magic Kingdom. The reason for this is largely because of the famous Pineapple Dole Whip Float. Located in Adventureland the Aloha Isle serves up some excellent choices but the Pineapple Float has to be the winner. At $4.19 it is an excellent use of your snack dining credit. You can choose from pineapple, orange or vanilla Dole Whip in pineapple juice. You will have to try all of them of course to see which one you like best!

Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar

This is a Disney classic. No visit to Disney World is complete without sampling a Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar. They are widely available from ice cream carts throughout the parks and cost $3.50.

Baby Cakes in Downtown Disney

Disney World is such an excellent place to be if you have food allergies or dining preferences such as a vegan diet. Vegans certainly rejoiced at the opening of Baby Cakes in 2010 in it’s new Downtown Disney locations – ironically where MacDonalds used to be.

Everything at Baby Cakes is gluten free, vegan and refined sugar free. The cupcakes are priced at $3.50 and are well worth a try particularly the Red Velvet Cupcake. They also offer excellent donuts. This is a must visit bakery for vegans and anyone on a gluten free diet visiting Disney World.

Zebra Domes

This is one of the more difficult to find snacks, simply because many Disney guests do not venture out to Disney Animal Kingdom Lodge. The zebra domes are available in Boma restaurant (which is a buffet) but are also on sale as a snack in Mara in Disney Animal Kingdom Lodge which is a quick service dining venue. Gluten free Zebra Domes are available in Boma – I have never asked in Mara but if you are on a gluten free diet certainly ask to find out if they have any. They are $3.69

The Disney food blog has an excellent recipe for Zebra Domes. For vegetarians out there be aware that they are not suitable for you as they do contain gelatine.

Starring Rolls Cafe Tiramisu

If you need a sweet snack when you are in Disney Hollywood Studios then a great place to try is Starring Rolls. There is a large selection of sandwiches, sushi and cakes, but one of my favorites is the Tiramisu which is available for $3.99.

Tangerine Cafe Side Dishes

The Tangerine Cafe in the Morocco Pavilion in Epcot Worldshowcase is an excellent find for inexpensive small snacks at just $1.99 each. Yes the portions are small but it can be all you need to get you around World Showcase for a few more hours! Sample the Tabouleh, Marinated Olives, Lentil Salad and Tangierine Couscous Salad. A little out of the ordinary but a healthy and vegetarian snack alternative for those guests looking for something a bit different.

Funnel Cake

Not sure if you can call something with quite so many calories a snack but perhaps you can share it to get rid of the guilt! The Funnel Cakes served at the Funnel Cake Kiosk in The American Adventure at Epcot’s World Showcase are always very popular, and very tempting. The basic Funnel Cake is priced at $6 and is served with sugar. Add vanilla ice cream for $2.25, chocolate sauce for $1, or fruit for $2.

There are so many snacks to choose from at Disney World it is so difficult to choose. Which are your favorites? Leave me a Comment about your favorite Disney World snacks.
