Disney has just announced the Panama Canal Cruise for 2015 on the Disney Wonder. If you are looking for a longer cruise on the Disney Wonder why not consider this 14 night special cruise from San Diego to Miami?
The Disney Wonder will sail from Miami on 1st May 2015 and through the Panama Canal on her way to San Diego. There will then be a 2 and 3 night cruise from San Diego before the Disney Wonder sails to Vancouver for her Alaskan adventures.
The port stops on the Panama Canal cruise for May 2015 are Cozumel, Mexico, Cartagena, Colombia, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and Cabo San Lucas Mexico.

As you will see from the Panama Canal itinerary there are plenty of days at sea on the Disney Wonder.
I have sailed on the Disney Wonder through the Panama Canal and it was an amazing experience. It takes around 8 to 12 hours to sail through the Panama Canal and it really is one of those once in a lifetime things (although I do hope to do it again).
What made the transit even more special was the excellent talks which were given by Captain Kenneth Puckett most days on the cruise. His morning talks given in the Walt Disney Theater were always full to capacity. He is a retired Panama Canal Pilot and has a fascinating insight into the Panama Canal and it’s history.
The days at sea give you a lot of time to relax on board. On the sailing we took there were also some really interesting behind the scenes tours on board which they don’t normally give. We got to see behind the scenes in the Walt Disney Theater and the Galley kitchens. There were lots of fun events on board too, including Hide and Seek with the Officers, and Captain Thord and Jimmy the Cruise Director bowling Wii Challenge.
