Disney Wonder Kids Menus – A Complete Guide

Planning a Disney Wonder cruise with your little ones?

But worried that your kids might not like the food?

Don’t worry. I’ve been there.

Fortunately, there are so many choices that even the most picky eaters will find something.

To make it easier for you here’s a comprehensive guide to the kids’ menus on the Disney Wonder together with all the other food options you have on the ship.

Rotational Dining

One of the unique features of dining on a Disney cruise is the rotational dining system.

This means that you and your family will rotate through three main dining rooms—Animator’s Palate, Triton’s, and Tiana’s Place—each night, while your serving team follows you.

This allows you to experience different themed environments and menus, all while receiving consistent, personalized service.

When you board your Disney Cruise you will see which restaurant you are assigned to each night.

Early and Late Dining

I know that this is something that parents of young children are also concerned about.

There are 2 seatings for rotational dining:

• Early Dining at 5.45
• Late Dining at 8.15

Whichever dining you have, you will get the chance to see the show in the Walt Disney Theatre either before or after your dinner.

Many parents are upset if they do not get their first choice of early dining. If this is a concern for you, call Disney or ask your travel agent to do this for you, so you can be on the waitlist for early dining.

Also, don’t despair if you do not get off the waitlist. As soon as you board there will be the chance to visit the dining team to see if they can help.

If you do not get it changed then don’t despair. Some parents have said that it did work out if they got a snack early in the evening, went to the show, and then went to dinner.

For most parents, it does work out, even if you do not get your first choice,

Animator’s Palate

The walls in the restaurant have screens with animations from beloved Disney films. The walls magically come to life and change throughout your dining experience.

You even get to draw your own character and it will be brought to life on the screens.

Note that if you are dining in Animator’s Palate more than once, the show will only happen once.

Tiana’s Place

Tiana’s Place is of course themed around the story of The Princess and The Frog.

What better idea for a Disney Wonder restaurant than one that takes its inspiration from a Disney Princess who realizes her dream of opening her own restaurant.

The attention to detail in Tiana’s Place is, of course, Disney perfect.

Take some time to look at all the details around the room, right down to the place settings.

The show here is really fun, but it is loud! Just expect a lively evening and you won’t be disappointed.

Triton’s

Triton’s is the most elegantly designed Disney Wonder restaurant.

It is located on Deck 3 mid-ship and like all of the Disney Wonder restaurants seats approximately 462 guests. Triton’s serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and is part of your rotational dining.

It is perhaps the least appealing to kids because there is no show or entertainment.

However, I think it is one of the best for adults as it has a great menu, its less loud than the other two restaurants, and I love the chairs! So comfy!

The Kids Menus

Here are all the kids menus for Disney Wonder. As you will see there are 7 menus plus one Pirate Night menu.

When you rotate around each restaurant you will see a different menu for each day.

If you are on a cruise with a Pirate Night sailing then that is the menu that you will get instead of the one for the specific day.

What happens if your child does not see anything they like?

Ask your Server. They will do whatever they can to find something that works.

So, if your child enjoyed a meal last night but it isn’t on the menu today, then ask for the same dish.

Also, don’t forget that a child can order from the adult menu and an adult can order from the kids’ menu – whatever you want!

Monday

Other Options

There is so much more food on a Disney Cruise than just that served in the rotational dining restaurants.

Cabanas

Cabanas is the name for the buffet on Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, Disney Magic and Disney Fantasy.

There is a large selection of food and you should be able to find something for breakfast and dinner in the buffet.

Unfortunately, Cabanas is not open for dinner. There are other options though on the pool deck if you don’t want to go to the restaurant. Room service is also an option.

Pete’s Boiler Bites

Here you are going to find the American classics such as

Burgers, hot dogs, tacos, chicken fingers, and more.

Pinocchio’s Pizzeria

This is a popular splot located on the pool deck. Grab a slice of pizza and watch Funnel Vision.

Eye Scream Treats

Here you can get as much self serve ice cream as you want.

Daisy’s DeLites

This option is sometimes overlooked but is a great option for kids and adults. It is a quick service venue with salads, fruits, sandwiches and bowls.

Room Service

If you want food any time of day, Room Service is a great option.

One of the great luxuries of sailing on a Disney Cruise is ordering room service.

Most of the Disney Wonder Room Service Menu is available free of charge and is included in your cruise fare.

Although it is nice to be able to enjoy your food on a balcony, you do not have to be in a balcony stateroom to order DCL room service.

Most of the menu is free, but there are some items with a charge.

One thing that is really great to order is warm milk and cookies in the evening.

Final Thoughts

I know that it can be stressful wondering what the kids are going to eat on any vacation.

However, Disney does everything it possibly can do to make sure that there are many options for every member of the family.

If you don’t find anything, always ask a Cast Member to help you – they will do everything you can to find something that your children will love.
