Disney Wish Kids Menus: A Comprehensive Guide for Parents

Sharing is caring!

Wondering what your kids are going to eat on Disney Wish?

Whenever my kids were younger it was always a concern about what they might be able to find on a menu when we traveled.

I soon learned that I didn’t have to worry on Disney Cruise Line as there are so many choices for everyone.

Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner, children can enjoy a variety of meals that cater to their preferences.

Even the pickiest of eaters is going to find something that they like.

Let’s see what all the food choices so that you can be prepared for your Disney Wish cruise.

And remember you don’t have to be a kid to choose from the kids menu. If you see something you want then get it!

Rotational Dining on Disney Wish

Disney Cruise Line does things a little differently to other cruise lines,

It has what is known as rotational dining. There are 3 main dining restaurants and guests visit each one of them for dinner during their cruise.

Each night their dedicated serving team follows them from venue to venue.

This ensures personalized service and a variety of dining experiences throughout the cruise. Your Servers will go above and beyond to make sure that everyone enjoys their meal.

If you do not see anything on the menu that your child will like then ask your Server for alternatives. They will do whatever they can to help.

There are 3 rotational main dining restaurants on Disney Wish:

  • Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure
  • Worlds of Marvel
  • 1923

Disney Wish Dining Rotation

When you board Disney Wish you will be able to see on your Navigators App what your dining rotation is.

This means that you will know which restaurant on Disney Wish to go to each evening.

There is a pattern to your Disney Wish dining rotation.

The order of each restaurant is 1923, Worlds of Marvel, then Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Experience.

What this means is that if you are sailing on a Disney Wish 3-night cruise and your first night is in Worlds of Marvel, you will go to Arendelle the next night, then 1923 on your final night.

If you are sailing a 4-night cruise on Disney Wish you will repeat the restaurant that you go to on the second night, and go there on the third night as well.

So, for instance, if you start in 1923 then you will have this dining rotation on Disney Wish:

1923, Worlds of Marvel, Worlds of Marvel again, then Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Experience.

Or if you start in Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Experience you will then go to 1923, and then 1923 again, with your final night in Worlds of Marvel.

In each Disney Wish rotational dining restaurant, you will have the menus I have detailed for you in this guide. However, each Wish cruise has Pirate Night.

For Pirate Night you will have the special Pirate Night Menu.

If you are on a 4-night cruise, you will experience all of the Disney Wish restaurant menus and have the Pirate Night Menu in addition.

I know that many parents are worried about whether they have early or late dining. Don’t worry! Disney will try their best to accommodate you.

You can call Disney Cruise Line at 1-800-951-3532 to request a specific dining rotation for any of the Disney ships. This, in my experience, usually works as DCL is committed to giving you the best experience.

If on boarding the ship you are not happy with your Disney Wish dining rotation then you can go to Luna Lounge from 1 pm and request a change with the dining team. They will help you if they possibly can.

However, if you do not get your preferred dining time then many parents do find it manageable to have late dining.

You go to the show early and your Servers will make sure that the kids are served their food first. I have talked to many parents who have said that things worked out better than they thought they would.

Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure

We are all invited to Anna and Kristoff’s engagement party which is held in a wing of Queen Elsa’s Arendelle Castle.

The theme and attention to detail is spectacular. Walk down the very long corridor and take some time to look at all the paintings on the wall.

There is a small stage in the middle of the restaurant, where a show is performed during the dinner.

Before you go it is probably best to set expectations. Because of the position of the stage, many people do not have a great view.

Also it is loud. Very loud.

Whilst you may not get a great view of the stage, you will most certainly get a view of the people on the next table. Almost all the tables are positioned very close together.

Just be aware of these things going in and you will most likely have a wonderful time.

The menu features kid-friendly dishes. Examples include Elsa’s and Anna’s Baked Salmon, Barbecue Chicken Pizza and The Royal Corn Dog.

For dessert, there are sweet options like Olaf’s Campfire S’mores Bar and the ever popular Mickey Ice Cream Bar.

Worlds of Marvel

At Worlds of Marvel, kids can step into an action-packed universe featuring Marvel heroes.

This restaurant uses some very innovative technology and this makes this experience a lot of fun, even if you aren’t the biggest fan of the franchise (yes that’s me).

The menu includes dishes such as Crispy Chicken Tenders, Mini Cheeseburger and Barbecue Glazed Chicken Breast.

For dessert, the Quantum Cupcake is a popular item.

1923

1923 provides a more traditional dining experience with a touch of Disney magic.

Named after the year Walt Disney founded the company, this restaurant offers a vintage, nostalgic ambiance featuring artwork and memorabilia.

This beautiful restaurant is a tribute to Hollywood glamor and the 1920s Golden Age of Cinema.

It is also probably the one that your kids are going to like the least, and you will like the best. Most cruisers say that 1923 is their favorite restaurant on Disney Wish.

But after the busy atmosphere and screen entertainment in Worlds of Marvel, and the Frozen themed favorites in Arendelle, 1923 might be a little bit dull for the kids.

The kids’ menu includes classics like Chicken Pot Pie and Creamy Roasted Tomato Soup.

Each entrée is served with options like smashed potatoes, steak fries, or macaroni and cheese. Desserts include Warm Fudge Chocolate Chip Cookie.

Disney Wish Kids Pirate Night Menu

On every Disney Wish cruise, there will be a Pirate Night. This very popular themed event is included on 3 and 4-night cruises.

If you are sailing on a 3-night cruise you will just have the 3 menus that we have just seen. However, if you are sailing on a 4-night cruise on Disney Wish, you will also have the Pirate Night menu.

Casual Dining & Quick Service Options

Disney Wish offers various casual dining and quick service options perfect for families looking for a relaxed meal experience.

The buffet, Marceline Market provides a diverse selection of dishes, while Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods features themed food stations perfect for both kids and adults.

Marceline Market

Marceline Market is a food hall inspired by Walt Disney’s childhood hometown. It offers several different food stalls, each with its own theme and cuisine.

Guests can find a variety of options, from freshly made sushi and seafood to American classics like burgers and fries.

Healthy choices, including salads and fruit, are also available.

Really it has something for everyone – even the pickiest of eaters.

There is seating both inside and out. It can get crowded at busy times but I have never had a problem finding a seat.

Marceline Market is open for breakfast and lunch. You can check opening hours on your Navigators app.

However, it is not open for dinner. This is one area in which Disney does not keep up with other cruise lines.

Many people like to have the choice of a buffet in the evening, but Disney does not offer this on any of their ships.

Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods

Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods offers themed food stations inspired by popular Disney characters.

Guests can enjoy an array of quick bites such as tacos, barbecue, and pizza.

Each station is designed to reflect the personality of a specific character, adding a fun, immersive element to the dining experience.

  • Mickey’s Smokestack Barbecue
  • Donald’s Cantina
  • Daisy’s Pizza Pies
  • Goofy’s Grill
  • Sweet Minnie’s Ice Cream

Popular stations include Donald’s Cantina which serves fresh Mexican food and Goofy’s Grill which offers classic burgers and hot dogs.

The area is conveniently located poolside, making it easy for families to grab a bite without interrupting their fun in the sun.

The variety ensures there’s something for everyone, appealing to both picky eaters and those with more adventurous tastes.

Room Service on Disney Wish

Even with all the entertainment and dining options on the new Disney Wish Cruise ship, sometimes you just want to kick back in your stateroom and enjoy some food and beverages.

Don’t forget that you can order from the new Disney Wish Room Service Menu. This can be a great option for kids.

Room service has many free items on the Disney Wish, but there are also some expanded options for which there is a charge

Crisp Breaded Chicken Tenders and Grilled Angus American Cheeseburger are a popular choice. Don’t forget to order Chocolate Chip cookies and warm milk for bedtime!

Special Dietary Accommodations

Disney Cruise Lines takes special dietary needs seriously. They offer various options to accommodate different requirements, ensuring every guest enjoys their meals comfortably and safely.

For those with food allergies, Disney Wish provides many choices.

Diners can enjoy specially prepared meals that align with their dietary restrictions. Simply inform your server, and they will be glad to help.

To make dining arrangements smoother, it’s advised to communicate your dietary needs before you sail on the Navigator App, or at least 24 hours before dining.

This way, the staff has ample time to prepare and ensure every meal meets your expectations.
