All the Disney staterooms have the concept of “Enchantment” for their overall design.

You can see this in the detailing of the Cinderella inspired pictures and the design on the bedding.

The design of the Disney Wish staterooms makes the most of the available space. Each side of the bed has their own light and also USB charge points.

There is plenty of storage space. There is room under the Queen bed to put your suitcases. There is plenty of closet space in the hall as well as more drawers and storage in the living area.

In staterooms sleeping 4 there is a pull down bunk. There is a magical lighted ceiling above each bunk featuring The Fairy Godmother.

The bunk pulls down from the ceiling – your stateroom host will do this for you every evening.

Disney Wish Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom Deck 2

Disney Wish Outside Stateroom
Disney Wish Stateroom Storage

There are 60 Deluxe Oceanview staterooms on Deck 2 of the Disney Wish. Most of the Disney Wish Inside Staterooms are also on Deck 2.

Some guests are going to love this location – others are going to avoid it.

Why?

Deck 2 is also home to the Disney Oceaneer’s Club, It’s a Small World Nursery and the Walt Disney Theatre.

Some people are going to see this as a great advantage, but others will think that there is the potential for unwanted noise on this Deck.

Deck 2 Oceanview staterooms are likely to be very popular with families with younger children as they are so close to the Oceaneer Club.

Here we can see Disney Wish Deck 2.

As you can see, the Walt Disney Theatre is on Deck 2 Forward. This means it will be very easy to get to the shows in the evening. The possible downside is that there may be some noise.

However, I really think that this is not something that most people will need to be concerned about.

I would probably suggest avoiding 2050 and 2550 as they are very close to the Walt Disney Theater. Perhaps even 2052, 2054, 2956, 2552, 2554 and 2556.

However, Disney really does know what they are doing. They will have done everything they can to make sure that those staterooms are not troubled by noise.

The one thing that most probably will be a downside to these staterooms is that the Deck 2 forward elevators are going to be very busy for a brief period of time, four times a day.

There are 2 shows per day in the Walt Disney Theatre. Usually at 5.30 and 8.00. Most guests will use those elevators to arrive and leave the theater. So they will be very very busy for those short periods of time per day.

More of a concern for guests will be that Deck 2 has the Oceaneer’s Club and It’s a Small World Nursery.

From the Deck Plan below you can see that there are a lots of Oceanview Staterooms on the Disney Wish that are very close to the Oceaneer’s Club.

Some guests are going to be concerned about the noise potential of being in this location. However, I would say that this is unlikely to be a concern in reality,

It isn’t yet clear where the entrance to the kids club is, but I am sure that it was located as far away as possible from the staterooms.

If we look at Deck 2 aft this is a great location for a stateroom. The at elevators are unlikely to ever be busy.

The only guests who are likely to use them are those going to the It’s a Small World Nursery or their own staterooms. So not many people.

Deck 2 staterooms are always a good idea for those people who tend to be prone to sea sickness. There is less motion, particularly mid ships on the lower decks.

Deck 2 will also most likely experience some engine noise. The lower in the ship you are, the more likely you will experience vibration and some locations will also hear noice when the anchors are dropped and raised.

Disney Wish Deck 6 Oceanview Staterooms

All of the Deck 6 Oceanview Staterooms are category 8C.

There are 8 Oceanview Staterooms on Deck 6 Forward. These are in a great location for the Shipside Promemade.

Towards the aft of Deck 6 there are 12 more Oceanview Staterooms.

Disney Wish Deck 7 Oceanview Staterooms

Disney Wish Deck 7 Oceanview Stateroom

There are only 21 Deluxe Oceanview Staterooms on Deck 7 of the Disney Wish.

These are staterooms 7000, 7002, 7002, 7006, 7500, 7502 and 7504. These are Category 7D staterooms.

Which are the best Oceanview Staterooms on Deck 7 of the Wish? There are certainly some interesting options here.

7000, 7002, 7004, 7500 and 7502 are all located right at the front of the ship so will have amazing views from the porthole.

Of these staterooms, it looks as though 7000, 7502, and possibly 7500 will be larger than standard. Of course at this moment, before Disney Wish is launched, we really can’t confirm that.

7504 and 7006 are much larger and are likely to be in high demand.

7008 and 7506 are smaller than standard so are in a lower classification of Category 9A.

7010, 7012, 7014, 7016, 7018, 7020, 7508, 7510, 7512, 7514, and 7512 are all Category 8C Deluxe Oceanview Staterooms.

7510 and 7512 are both accessible Oceanview Staterooms.

There are also some Oceanview staterooms on Deck 7 Aft

7176, 7178, 7180, 7182 and 7184, 7672, 7674, 7676, 7678 and 7680 are all 8C Oceanview Staterooms which are on Deck 7 aft.

All of these staterooms should be a good choice.

Deck 8 Deluxe Outside Staterooms on the Disney Wish

As you can see from the Deck Plan above, there are 14 Outside Staterooms on Deck 8 Forward.

8008 and 8506 are 9A staterooms – this means they will usually be priced the lowest in that category. The reason for this is that these are smaller than the usual Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom.

8010, 8012, 8013, 8016, 8018 and 8020, 8508, 8510, 8512, 8514, 8516 and 8518 are Category 8B, which will usually be the highest priced in that category,

On Deck 8 Aft 8172, 8174, 8176, 8178 and 8101, 8670, 8672, 8674, 8676, 8678 are all Category 8B.

Deck 9 Deluxe Outside Staterooms on the Disney Wish

There are 22 Deluxe Oceanview Staterooms on the Disney Wish on Deck 9. These are all Category 8B and will be the most highly desirable of the Oceanview category – mostly due to their location just 2 decks down from the pool deck.

Deck 9 is the highest Deck location for a Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom.

The Deluxe Oceanview Staterooms Aft are 9162, 9164, 9166, 9168, 9170 and 9662, 9664, 9666, 9668 and 9670.

Disney Wish Oceanview Concierge Staterooms

The Disney Wish is unique as it offers Oceanview Concierge Staterooms for the first time on a Disney Ship.

A very new concept is the Oceanview Concierge Staterooms which are located over the bridge. There will only be seven of these staterooms available and they will have floor to ceiling windows overlooking the bow of the ship. These will be themed after The Little Mermaid.
