The exciting news is that the Disney Wish will launch for her Maiden Voyage on June 9, 2022.
The Disney Wish will have her homeport in Port Canaveral Florida. She will sail mostly 3 and 4 night Bahamian cruises with port stops in Nassau and Castaway Cay.

How Much Does a Disney Wish Cruise Cost?
The cost of a Disney cruise on any of the ships depends on these main factors:
- Time of Year
- Type of Stateroom
- Number of Guests
- When You Book
Time of Year
I am sure it is not a big surprise to anyone that the date that you sail makes a lot of difference.
The peak times and prices will always be over Christmas and New Year, July 4th and in school vacation times. Prices tend to start to rise in mid June and then go back down in mid to late August.
Everything is about supply and demand.
Disney Wish Stateroom Options
The type of stateroom that you choose on the Disney Wish will have. big impact on the price of your cruise.
Here are the types of staterooms that are available on the Disney Wish.
- 1,254 staterooms (includes 53 concierge staterooms and 23 concierge suites)
- 1,133 outside staterooms (90%)
- 948 verandah staterooms (70%)
- 185 oceanview staterooms (20%)
- 121 inside staterooms (10%)

Usually the least expensive will be the Inside, followed by Outside Staterooms.
There really aren’t very many Inside Staterooms on the Disney Wish. Always check to see if you can upgrade to an Outside Stateroom for a relatively small cost amount.
There will usually be quite a difference in price between the Outside staterooms and the Outside Staterooms with Verandah. Having a balcony is a very nice perk, and guests are willing to pay quite a bit more for this.
The highest price staterooms on the Disney Wish are those in the Concierge Category. These staterooms are highly sought after and are usually the ones which sell out first.
High demand and lots of perks mean that prices are the highest on the Disney Wish.
If you want the ultimate in luxury then you can even book the suite which is located in the Disney Wish funnel.
This almost 2,000 square feet of space is the ultimate in luxury and is known as the Disney Wish Tower Suite.
When You Book the Disney Wish
The general wisdom is that the earlier that you book any Disney cruise the lower the cost will be.
As you can see from these price comparisons, this is particularly true of the Disney Wish. Prices on some cruises went up rapidly.
Look through the chart and you will see what I mean. Some Disney Wish cruise prices have changed very little (mostly the 3 night cruises). However, some have gone up considerably.
The most rapid price change was in Disney Wish Concierge. The price went up quickly and now everything is sold out.
Number of Guests in the Disney Wish Stateroom
The non concierge staterooms on the Disney Wish sleep either 3, 4 or 5 guests.
The first 2 guests always pay the highest price on any Disney cruise. The 3rd, 4th and 5th guests in a stateroom pay a reduced rate.
However, this doesn’t always mean that it is cheaper to book on stateroom if you have 4 or 5 guests. This is particularly true if you are a party of 5.
The staterooms for 5 are in high demand and therefore can sometimes be priced higher than getting 2 staterooms. Always check both options before making a decision.
It may be better value for you to book 2 staterooms (which will give you more space and also 2 bathrooms) than to book one stateroom for 5. It is certainly worth always checking what the price difference will be.
What are the Disney Wish Cruise Prices?
Here are the current prices for booking a cruise on the new Disney Wish. The Maiden Voyage is on June 9, 2022.
This sold out on day 3 after it was offered to Platinum Castaway Club Members.
The prices which are shown for the Disney Wish are correct today, June 9, 2021. One year before the Disney Wish Maiden Voyage is due to set sail.
You will see that some categories are no longer available. As you can imagine, there is huge demand and interest in the Disney Wish. She is the first new Disney cruise ship in a decade and her design looks amazing.
The prices listed for the Disney Wish are for 2 guests only. These include taxes and port fees.
The prices shown are for the lowest price available in the category shown.
So for example the Concierge prices shown will be for the lowest priced in that Category which is available – most likely this is not for the Disney Wish Tower Suite!
For comparison only we are showing the price of the same cruise if you had been able to book when the Disney Wish cruises first went on sale.

Currently the only Disney Wish cruises that are available to the general public are from June 17, 2022 until September 30, 2022.
When will the late 2022 Disney Cruises be released? Usually that would be around the end of May or beginning of June.
However, we are still in unusual times so my best guess is that it won’t be earlier than mid-July and possibly later.
